SMSView 1.0.6 Refresh Paused (48 KB) Released June 29, 2005 **Special Version of SMSView. This version has the refresh paused on initial startup. This helps when querying systems over slow links. Watch for version 1.0.7 for a better fix for this.

Release Notes
Major Changes for 1.0.6

• Non-Admin Functionality -- Non-Admin users have the ability to view Advertisement Status and Advertisement History on the local system.
• Package Name -- the Package name is now included in the main GUI for SMSView

Known Issues/Future Modifications/Fixes (target fix version in parens)

• Only works with Regional Settings set to English (hopefully 1.08 or 1.09)
• Recurring Schedules -- only weekly recurring schedules appear properly (1.07 and 1.08)
• A "configuration screen" to set the query interval & other options TBD (1.07 or 1.08)
• Fix Re-Run advert so that it works with program dependencies (1.07)
• SMSView may "freeze up" when it's querying a remote system that's shutting down (1.07)

Issues that may never have a "fix"

• Advert History GUI does not contain the Package Name, as all information for this display is obtained from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SMS\Mobile Client\Software Distribution\Execution History\System
